Description: Seventeen flat stellate flowers and seven buds on one upright inflorescence; sepals and petals dark violet becoming darker distally; lip violet, side lobes and proximal midlobe overlaid dark violet; spur 2.8-cm light violet proximally becoming white proximally; column white, dorsal surface overlaid dark violet, anther cap cordovan; substance firm; texture crystalline.
